The Automatic Side Louvre Window Opener is designed to automatically control temperature and provide additional ventilation in Palram - Canopia greenhouses equipped with a louvered side window. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the device gradually opens to allow the right amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The ventilation arm was designed with the use of wax that expands with heat to push a piston, opening the louvered window, as the air heats, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The automatic shutter opener works without the use of electricity.

It is recommended, if possible, to place the structure on a concrete base (Option A).
This represents the optimal solution as the surface will be flat and dry and the structure can be anchored without difficulty while also ensuring good resistance to strong winds.
Alternatively, other solutions can be adopted.
Use self-locking tiles or reconstructed stone, a wooden floor (Option B) or more simply, if the structure is equipped with a load-bearing floor (Keter), a compact gravel base.
The innovative Biohort platform with ground anchoring screws can also be used on uneven terrain (Option C).
Placing your house on a solid and flat surface improves the stability and durability of the product.
